I wrote this song in college (probably 2009 or 2010). It's about the craziness of the world, specifically the season of fall when things get busy with new school happenings and elections and stress and why can't we all just get along and sleep eight hours a night. At some point around 2018/2019, we started singing the second verse with the line "boys to kiss."
I'm pretty sure this is Shane Palko on drums (www.shanepalko.com) and Em McKeever (www.emkeev.com) on bass, but I no longer have any notes or session files, so that could definitely be wrong. I have no idea where we recorded this (most possibly at Supermagic Studios in Landenberg, Pennsylvania).
lyrics
Young men make a mess
Mothers come and clean it up
We all grow a little at a time
Oh gentlemen don't be depressed
There's life to live and girls to kiss
We all grow a little at a time
This truly is a mad season
We’ve got so many reasons
To love each other
Just like brothers
Cut you out, let you go,
You've got no other place you know
